I’m writing today to talk about changes to the Service Center product line.
Meeting our customer’s needs and exceeding expectations has always been a priority for us. This has allowed Service Center to remain one the best values around. While the price has remained consistent the past 15-years, the product expanded, with support added for Android and ChromeOS, a new bootable test environment that continues to provide the widest coverage around, a NIST-compliant drive erase solution, and free cloud storage and reporting of system information, test data, and drive erase reports, to name just a few.
As we all know, the economy has undergone many large changes over the years, and as of late inflation is influencing nearly every industry, with ours being no exception. To continue offering the same level of features, continued product development, and accuracy, we find ourselves in the position that we must increase Service Center prices in response.
Here are our plans going forward.
Product Offerings and Price Changes
Effective today, October 17, 2023, the Service Center product offerings and prices are changed.
- Service Center Premier Kits are officially discontinued. The benefit to the Premier Kit has always been the PCI POST cards. However, with the lack of industry adoption of a standard for routing BIOS codes in PCIe, and as PCI has become nearly obsolete even in the refurbishment space, continuing to offer PCI POST cards bring very little value to you as a technician.
- For those who do not require a full Service Center Kit (carrying satchel, loopback adapters, test media, recovery disc), we offer Service Center for $399. This comes with the Multipurpose USB Device, a USB extension cable, and a USB A-C adapter.

- Service Center Drive Erase prices increases from $59 to $99, and Service Center Drive Erase 3-packs are no longer available.
To help you transition to these new Service Center Kit prices, here is a 25% off code—LOYALTY25—available for 1-month (through: November 17, 2023). This code can only be used one time on any quantity of Service Center, Service Center Kit, or Service Center Kit 3-packs (excludes Service Center Drive Erase).
Free and Paid Upgrades
Starting with Service Center 16, the free, annual electronic upgrade for current users will be replaced with a free biannual refresh to Service Center Bootable Diagnostics. This will ensure you have the most up-to-date driver support for new technology. An email will be sent to you when this biannual upgrade is available, currently slated to happen before end of year.
