Strange that you are seeing this message, I have the XPS M1730 system that I use and do not see this message. Unfortunately there is only one installer for the product.
In order to better assist you, and if you are willing to assist in the matter, I would need you to grab some log files off of your system and send them through the forums as a private message. You can obtain the files following the steps below:
1. Press the Windows key + R to open the run window
2. In the run window type %appdata%
3. There should be a PCDr folder, double click this folder to access it.
4. You should see an Installer and an Update folder, double click the update folder to access it.
5. Right click the logs folder and select the send to > a compressed (zipped) file menu option.
