Greetings,

This is the portion of the My Dell scan that shows my error issue:

Primary Surface Test

Test Started      7/7/2014 1:59:37 PM
Warning Message:    Error at pixel 1439 0 : Input color 00FFFFFF not equal to output color 00808080.    7/7/2014 2:00:23 PM
Test Finished:    Failed (Error code: WVC07-LR4)   7/7/2014 2:00:37 PM

I ran the on-line diagnostics which timed out at 90% of the way through the Transformation and Lighting Test so couldn't receive a Validation Code.

I contacted Dell chat support and fell into a loop of query/answer which netted me nothing. The tech couldn't help me with this error code.

Can anyone here solve this? I am just trying to understand how to resolve the problem.

Sincerest Regards!

I am sorry to hear that one of our tests is failing on your computer. The first thing I would suggest is to make sure that your video drivers are up-to-date since that can report incorrect information to our software (It's a good idea to check using the latest version from Dell and also from the video card manufacturer), possibly causing it to report an error. I would also suggest performing a memory stress test to rule out the possibility of bad system memory affecting the results.

If a driver update doesn't resolve the issue and you don't have any memory errors, then it is likely that there is an actual problem with your video card.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or issues.

Thanks,
Kris
