Hello Expert,
I faced a problem as described below:

Motherboard: Intel Z77 chipset + CPU i5-3xxx(Ivy Bridge)
PC Doctor v5.9

VESA Full Video Memory Test fail.
Failed address=EFF00000 Read Data=E972AA55 Expected=EFF00000

We have tried the Z77 boards from other motherboard vendors, also the same failure.
(The default shared memory setting in BIOS is 256MB (fail), however if changed to 1024MB, the test item become pass)
Any idea?

Thanks.

Hello Jason,

Could you please provide me with the a tech support form dump? The following steps will assist you in gathering the information requested:
1.  Boot into PC-Doctor using the Multipurpose USB device (MUD)
2.  Select the save file location
3.  Press R to run PC-Doctor stand alone
4.  Locate the tech support form in the utilities menu
5.  Press F5 to launch the utility
6.  Save the results and send them to me through the forums using a private message.
The latest version of Service Center, 7.9, was released well before the Ivy Bridges were made available for testing.  There is a chance the a code update will be needed to address the issue.

Thanks,
James_PCD
