Booted from CD and USB device and got "Canceled by device" on primary HD...Can't find much about this...anyone tell me if this is in fact some kind of failure or not?  Thanks All... :D

What is the make and model of the computer?

What is the make and model of the Hard Drive?

Are you running an OEM version or Service Center 7.5

The SMART tests are drive self tests.  PC-Doctor tells the drive to run them and then waits for the drive to send the results.  If the drive cancels it's own SMART test there is little we can do except report it.  We have seen this happen on some early implementations of SSD drives that did not fully implement the SMART standard.
