Mr Anderson,

This is a common "error".  It is telling you that the A20 line can not be controlled by the XMS driver.  Many PCs do not allow this any longer and later XMS drivers such as MS-DOS and PC-DOS ignore it alas DR-DOS, the DOS version we are licensed to redistribute does not.

This has been a thorn in my side for some time.  The ramdisk will load and run, as will the rest of PC-Doctor, without the XMS driver or available himem. You just have less ram to work with.

We have written our own XMS driver that will work with the newer machines. I am testing it as we speak and as soon as it is ready for prime time we will release it and you can replace the existing himem.sys driver with the PCDRXMS.SYS driver.
