Post card results of DX58so intel board with i7-968 chip
Hi
I have just tested a Intel DX58SO motherboard with an i7-968 chip fitted and the results are :
Mhz -12 +12 I/O Aux 3.3 +5
0 ELO 4.1 4.8 0.2 0 4.8
00
Can anyone help with this (ELO) part.

Mr Anderson,
It means the voltage is LOw. You may have to futz with the DIP switches to use the POST card on this board. The MHZ and 3.3 volt both show zero, this indicates a basic problem with the card / motherboard interface.

Mr Anderson,
ELO
E is for Error
LO is for Low
The joy of having 3 bits to display something. The key to the issue is the other voltages and BUS speed displaying zero. Try another slot?

Mr Anderson,
I would try it in another known good system to make sure the POST card isn't broken but barring that yes. As long as you have the POST card installed in the PCI slot and the Power supply is OK there is nothing else that can be at fault.
