I new to the PC-Doctor diagnostic kit, working with a Dell Dimension 5150, system will not power on, have tested the power supply with two different power supply testers, the last being the one included in the PC-Doctor kit, test good.  Have replaced the mother board, have replaced the front I/O panel, have unplugged everything except the CPU fan, yet when I apply power the green led on the mother board lights up, but pressing the power button on the front I/O panel does not turn the system on.  I'm at a lost of what else to try.  The system is old and really not worth much more effort but I'm at a point now its more a matter I don't want to give up on it regardless.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It is possible that the pins from the MB to the power button are not connected properly or worn out.  Have you tried replacing the cable from the board to the power button?
