Just recieved my PC Service Center 7.9.  I can install the PC Service Center 7.9 onto my harddisk but after it finishes installing that is it.  It will not start up. After the message that comes pp saying it has installed correctly that is as far as I can get.  If I press ok when it asks if I want to run the program nothing happens.

I have been able to go into DOS and use that part of the program though.

I also have two other computers which run fine after the full install on the harddisk.

My computter is running Windows 7/  It is a computer that I built myself.  Any suggestions?

Hello Dino,

Which install method are you using to install SC 7.9?  Full install, quick install and run, or run from the CD?  I ask because you indicated that you have other systems that work fine with a full install.

Have you tried other install methods on the trouble system?  Have you tried to launch the app (outside of the prompt to run)?

I was using the full install.  It would not work on other install either.  Well let me clarify that.  The software does install, it just dissappears after the install.  You click on the icon and nothing happens.  I did get it to run by using the dos method.

Works fine on my other 4 computers though.

This once computer though will not show the program using any method.  It only works using DOS>

That is strange indeed.  I am un-aware of seeing this happen on our end.  Do any of the files remain on the system?  Please check in the following location(s)
win 7 64-bit
C:\Program Files (x86)\PC-Doctor Service Center 7.9
Win 7 32-bit
C:\Program Files\PC-Doctor Service Center 7.9
