My HP home computer is 5-6 years old & probably needs to be replaced as it's starting to do odd things and runs slow at times.  Recently did a PC-Doctor scan and came up with two error messages:  Internal Error AMD FPU Test and AMD SSE Test.  Have no idea what these mean.  Are the problems serious, & if so, what can I do to fix them.  Thanks.

dbs51,

These are internal CPU functions FPU - Floating Point Unit and SSE - Streaming SIMD Extensions.

If these are true errors there is nothing that can be done to fix them except replace the CPU.

First I would thoroughly clean the computer, fans and CPU heatsink then update PC-Doctor from the HP website and rerun the tests.
