PCI POST Card Aux

Hello,

The manual states that the Aux voltage reading on the PCI POST card should "normally" be 3.3 v.  Does this mean there are exceptions?  I measured the voltage on a board in which Aux hovered between 2.9 and 3.0 volts.  All other voltages were in spec, including the 3.3 volt line.  Is this normal?  The computer intermittently reboots once a week or so.

The 3.3 volt PCI threshold spec is ±0.1 x VCC.  For 3.3 volts this is ±.33 volts or 2.97 to 3.63 volts. Your Aux line is providing 3.23 to 3.33. It is not normal to be out of spec however .07 of a volt would most likely not cause this issue.

If you have a spare power supply I would temporarily hook it up to the system and retest.
