Blank screen

 HP Pavilion zv6000 won't boot up. All lights and fan comes on and the screen appears to lighten up (likes its starting to come on from black to grey) and then goes dark. I've tried the following:
Hooked up the mini post card and got 00 on the 2 digit readout and 33 on the 3 digit readout. All the voltage lights where green exept for the 12 volt. Any suggestions?

 What does code 33 (Initialize POST dispatch manager) mean? and what if anything can I do about it.

ipswrw,

The dispatch manager oversees other POST processes.  This is not good.  I would try removing the battery and using the clear CMOS jumper.

I would also reseat all socketed chips and cards and try again.
