Hi Members, I have recently joined and wish to introduce myself. I am 74 years of age, a retired engineering manager with a love of computers and Landscape Photography. I have 4 computers in my network, 2 Pcs and 2 Laptops.
I use the computers for Photography Editing and Cataloging and also researching on the internet. I have now given up taking photos using film, and now concentrate on Digital Photos and Editing them (when necessary) using Adobe CS software.
My main concern with the digital world is that I now have to spend increasing time and money on the security of not only my Photos but my identity etc., I find that the digital age is very exciting but altogether moving to fast for a old codger like my self. Windows 7 is now with us and I have upgrades the 3 Vista machines without any problem, although on my latest machine which has a 500GB HD I found that after the upgrade that over 50% of the capacity had been used in the upgrade. perhaps some one can enlighten me where I have committed the error.
I was told by the Win7 advisor that I should uninstall PC-doctor and after the upgrade download the the software again. this is how I became a member on you forum, I would thank anyone on anticipation for advices on how to get my 250GB back to my HD
