Disabling PC-Doctor on Start Up

Every time I start up my pc a window comes up that is checking system settings or something and than the pc doctor window comes up. I can't find a way to turn it off. When i bought my pc I had a customization run on it (GEEK SQUAD) and it never did this. I recently had to run the recover disks to fix an issue and I want to be able to turn this thing off but don't want to uninstall the program.

I believe you may have PC-Doctor confused with another program.  PC-Doctor is a hardware diagnostics program that does not do anything unless it is run. We don't check anything on startup, run things in the background or pop up any windows.

PC-Doctor is installed by many OEMs to assist support staff in diagnosing hardware related issues.  The behavior you describe is not part of the PC-Doctor method of operation.  There are other “Doctor” programs that would do this.  Are you sure the window says PC-Doctor not bug doctor or something else?

Yes I'm sure. What first happens when I boot up or restart my PC is a box pops up on the desktop that says Profiler Progress Information and a bar scans across the box. After that disappears  a larger box opens titled PC-Doctor System Information Profiler. In it it says : No system summary information and under that has 2 boxes titles Added Devices and Removed Devices, both of which are blank.

The version on my PC is PC-Doctor 5 for Windows that came on my computer new.

What is the make and model of your system?  We provide pre-loads for many different OEMs.  Knowing this will help me get an answer faster.

Without knowing specifics I would suggest you look in the startup programs;
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Start Menu\Programs\Startup for programs that would be fired on startup replace username with your credentials. 
You should also check;
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup as programs and shortcuts in this directory will be executed also, no matter what user.

  I looked in both places and it wasn't listed under start up. My system is an HP m7580n media center PC.

Ok I found out HP configures the system to run the profiler on startup.  Since we supply  software to HP to preload as they see fit, the politically correct answer would be to tell you to contact HP support for directions on how to accomplish your goal.
