When I try to boot to USB, It will boot to Debian GNU/Linux Stretch?sid debian tty1.

I'm not sure how to get into the GUI interface to run diagnostics. I have about 19 of these flash drives and I have tried a few of them and they go to this command line for some reason. I have this happening on a Dell Optiplex and MacBook Pro 15.
