How do I upgrade the dongle from 7.9 to 8.0?

Assuming that you have already applied for and received the upgrade to 8.0 you can simply follow these steps.
Instructions to update your Multipurpose USB Device:
Make sure your system is booted into Windows XP or higher.
Insert the Multipurpose USB Device into a USB port.
Insert the Service Center 8 Diagnostics CD to automatically run the application.
(Note: If the autorun feature is disabled, open the Run option from the Windows Start menu, type cd:\setup.exe, and press Return.)
When the Service Center for Windows menu launches, click on More - Advanced Options.
Select the "Multipurpose USB Device Restore Tool" option and wait until the operation completes.
If you haven't received your upgrade to Service Center 8.0 then please go to:
http://www.pcdservicecenter.com/upgradeeligibility.php
