Test Media

I'm using PC-Doctor for the first time.  When doing the CD and DVD "read write tests", do I use the CD and DVD test media that came with PC-Doctor?  There was a popup that said this test would make the media unusable.  Or should I use one of my own CD and/or DVD blank media?

Please use blank media for any of the RW tests.  The test media that came with PC-Doctor is not RW media so you will not be able to write to it anyway.  Although write once media can be used I find it helpful to have a collection of CD and DVD +-RW media to test with.  This will allow you to test the write functionality without making a bunch of coasters.
