program is locking up

I tried to run a full scan and my computer came across a "high" virus alert for adware named Trymedialsd5 and freezes up.  I then have to manually shut down my computer to get anything to work again.  Any suggestions?

PC-Doctor is a hardware diagnostics suite.  We do not scan for or report viruses.  You have us confused with another company, please contact the maker of your software for assistance.
