How do I prevent IE 10 from freezing
-
Unfortunately I can't really think of any suggestions I could offer on this.
Except perhaps that maybe you could try Firefox or Chrome instead and see if it works.
If you continue to have issues I would suggest taking it to someone to help you with the issue.

uninstall it.. I work at staples and I'm starting to see a patern. New computers that use IE 10 run fine.. But older pcs (pcs that didn't come with it) and install it have an issue running IE 10. I saw the same thing that happen to IE 9 when it came out. I use Firefox personally.. Never did like IE. ALWAYS had issues with it. I like IE 8.. Still can get away with it for now if you REALLY want/have to use IE. Just my thoughts..

I agree with Staples guy, uninstall it and run CCleaner from piriform, it's free.
Then restart the computer and re-install IE 10 and you should be golden!
