Title: HDD-0 Controller failed

Hi everyone, Im running PCD 7.5 on a old Compaq Desktop with windows XP
The problem is that after this computer boots and passes POST it just shows the prompt at the top left corner and nothing on the screen it is not loading anything from the Hard Drive, when running PCD 7.5 in DOS this is what I get

Never seen this type of error before any suggestion?

From your test results, it appears that you're having an issue with the HDD Controller.
From my perspective this points to either your Motherboard or possibly the HD cable as the issue.

I changed the IDE cable, now I get the message after POST Non-System disk or disk error. Replace and stike any key when ready. Put the old one back and Im getting the same message

I'm sorry to say but it is definitely sounding like an issue with the motherboard.
